Busy Days

The past few days have been incredibly fun and exhausting for Mason and I. We went swimming for the first time (twice) at Kittleson Swim School, went to Gymfinity for their open gym, and spent a lot of time just hanging out at the park nearby our house.

This is a photo of Mason and I that Dustin snapped on Mother's Day. We went to my favorite restaurant for breakfast, Pancake Cafe. Mason did great and we were able to relax and enjoy our breakfast. While we were eating, Mason was flirting with the two women sitting in the seat behind us. He's such a good eater. He managed to down two eggs, part of a sausage and part of my specialty baked pancake. After we stuffed ourselves, we went home and read the Sunday paper and took a nap. It was a rainy windy day, so when we woke up, we went to the Mall where Mason had a blast playing with the kids at the indoor playground. The day was topped off with some ice cream at Culver's.

This is what happens when you don't keep a close eye on Mason. I was busy in his room putting away some diapers I had just purchased in his closet, when he decided his storage bin of diapers needed to be emptied so I could add the new ones. He disappeared from his room with a stack of diapers in his hand and tossed them down the stairs.

The changing table hasn't gotten much use for it's traditional purpose, but Mason likes to use it as a bunk bed and pretend to sleep.

More pretend play... feeding his Zebra.

When we walked into Gymfinity, Mason ran to the glass windows to watch the kids running around. Once I'd paid to go in, he practically ran me over getting through the door. He had a blast pushing around the large exercise balls. He walked the balance beam, hung from the bars, jumped on the trampoline and played in the foam pit. He even walked on the high beam (with just a little help from mom).

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! I think the cat did it. Mason looks waaaaay too sweet & innocent sitting on the step to make such a mess! Thanks for posting the great pics & comments, we were going through withdrawal!

What a cutie! I love the bunk bed, but my favorite is him taking a picture with his disposable camera: he has the form just right!!!

Hey Guys! I've been thinking about you a lot. Lori Zunker said she saw you at the Chinese Day on the Square (we were in Kansas City or we would have gone ourselves). Mason's looking so cute and happy in your pictures. Let's get together sometime -- maybe a trip to the zoo?

I didn't mean to make my comment from "Anonymous."
