A Little Brother

We have some exciting news! Today we have received our official paperwork (LOA) for the adoption of our second son, Liao Zhongqing. He will be two years old in September, and lives in the small city of Qujing City (5.3 million), in the province of Yunnan.

As with most Chinese adoptions, we'll be traveling to the capital city of his province, which is Kunming. We're not sure when, but possibly in 3 months.

While telling our family and friends is great, what we were really excited about was telling Mason! We've been feeling him out for quite some time to see if he was open to a "little brother or sister". He said you bet.... as long as it's a little brother! When we shared with him that he would indeed have a little brother, his response was, "I knew it! I knew it would be a little brother!" He was grinning ear to ear.
