I'm practically drooling over Rachel Ray's chili fries. That's what I get for watching daytime television. Since it's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I'm off of work. Dustin and I made a conscious decision to start eating better and exercising more, in part to get in shape for our trip to China. We started on the day most resolutions begin, January 1. So far I've lost 2.5 pounds. Not much, but I have been doing pretty good with what I've been eating. My favorite thing to eat, grape nuts with yogurt. MMmmm. Exercising has been going well too. I try to do 30 minutes on the treadmill 4/5 times a week.
What did I do with my day off? I decorated some foam blocks. Since I'm inept at sewing I had to come up with a way to cover these foam blocks. Now, I've had these blocks for over a year. Got them at Walmart with the idea to decorate them like the wooden children's blocks every toddler has. To make my life easier I decided to pick out some fleece fabric (with Dustin's help) and tie them around the blocks. I think they turned out pretty cute. I can already picture Tessa standing next to them and grabbing at the tassles.
