It's a small world.

I'm continually amazed at how small the world is. Our circle of friends has grown immensely over the past few years and exponentially over the past month. Their kindness has been unlike anything I've ever experienced. The generosity of our friends and their contributions to our lives is something we are continually grateful for. We are blessed.

When adoptive families receive their referral, they often receive 2-3 pictures of their child. These two or three pictures are the only images families have of their son/daughter's early lives. Many adoption agencies also permit the sending of care packages to the orphanage and many families will include an instant camera in order to obtain additional pictures of their child in his/her orphanage environment. These cameras are then given to the families on the day they meet their child. If a family is lucky they may be able to make contact with another family who has visited their child's orphanage and can share a picture or two where they are able to identify their child.

That Dustin and I have over 100 pictures of Xin Jin is nothing short of amazing. We are the exception. We are blessed.

Guess who just hid a bunch of crackers in his pocket??

But here he is giving them away to his friends:
