Fun-Filled Day

One of Mason's favorite things to do since we first met him is look out the window. Whether he's pointing at dogs or cars, or just watching people walk by, he loves to look out the window and take in all that is going on in our neighborhood. Yesterday, he happened to be watching the storm roll in. Luckily, we just got rain. There were a couple of tornadoes spotted north of Madison that we missed out on.

Today was a busy fun-filled day. We went to the Overture Center to listen to a Brazilian Music Group. Unfortunately the music was a bit loud for Mason, but we enjoyed it from the main entry way where there is a lookout onto the Rotunda Stage. After that we strolled the Farmer's Market and then went to the Children's Museum. Mason devoured a beef stick and ate most of a lemon poppyseed muffin before we made it around the square.

At the Children's Museum, Mason loved sitting in the car and driving around town. He even had some passengers that wanted to go to grandma's house. He enjoyed playing with the pebbles and dump trucks and just about everything else the museum had to offer. By the time we hit the play kitchen with "real" looking food, he was asking me to peel the fake banana. He would've stayed there for hours I think, but lunch was calling.
